BISA Sargodha : The Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Sargodha was established in 1968. And under the West Pakistan Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (Multan and Sargodha). Under Ordinance No. VII of 1968. With the jurisdiction of Sargodha and Rawalpindi Civil Divisions. Then It starts its functions in different rented buildings in Sattelite Town, Sargodha. Moreover, It shifted to the present campus in 1975. However the campus location is near 49-Tail, Faisalabad Road, Sargodha.

The BISE Sargodha bifurcated. And a separate Board (BISE Rawalpindi) was established for the civil division of Rawalpindi in 1978. However, it was again bifurcated. And a separate Board (BISE Faisalabad) for the civil division of Faisalabad got established in 1988.

Powers and Duties of the Chairman

The Chairman shall exercise control over the Office of the Board. As its principal executive and academic officer. And shall do all acts to ensure that the officers and the staff properly perform the duties entrusted to them. In particular, he shall:

Write confidential reports on the work of officers. As well as employees of the rank of Superintendent and above.
In addition, Appointment of Supervisory, evaluative. Similarly other academic staff or committees, concerns with the conduct of Examinations.

Powers and duties of the Secretary

The secretary will be incharge of Academic, As well as the administrative sector of the board office. But under the power of Chairman. And will carry out the orders and decisions of the Board. Futhermore of the Chairman.
Secondaly, The Secretary shall take all possible steps to ensure. That the funds spending of a Board are on the specific purpose accordingly.
Thirdly, The Secretary will prepare and submit to a Board for approval. For the Annual statement of accounts and budget estimates.
Furthermore all meetings of the Board and the committees will call by the Secretary. With the direction of the Chairman. While preparing the agenda for a meeting of a Board or a committee. The Secretary shall carry out the directions of the Chairman. As well as will not place anything on the agend. Also will not discuss anything without the permission of Chairman.
